Ford has been making trucks for over a century, which has made them pretty good at designing trucks for just about every need. In fact, Ford has been making the best-selling vehicle for over forty years and the best-selling truck for even longer. The Ford F-series have been flying off the lots for the last half-century because they are reliable, affordable, and get the job done efficiently. Here in Michigan, we know how much our farmers use their trucks and need them to function at a high-level day after day. Trucks are the lifeblood of the agriculture world, and Ford produces some of the best bang-for-your-buck trucks on the market.
The F-150 is the best-selling of Ford’s trucks, but the Ranger and Maverick offer some great value as well. Not everyone needs a full-size F-150. The smaller trucks offer improved mileage while maintaining many of the truck features which buyers are interested in. They still have decent towing and payload capacity but less room for both passengers and cargo since they are smaller in every way. If you need a really big truck, consider the F-250 or F-350, but if you just need one of the best all-purpose trucks ever made, the F-150 is a great choice, just ask the millions of people who have bought them. We have a great selection of trucks for sale at our well-stocked lot.
“Built Ford Tough” isn’t just a marketing slogan; it is a way of life for Ford engineers and designers. The F-150 has seen fourteen generations of truck design over the last century, which has resulted in countless innovations. In fact, the 14th generation includes a hybrid powertrain for the first time in a Ford pickup. Through constant improvement, Ford has kept the F-150 at the top-selling spot in the nation. The new Ford F-150 sells so well for its versatility and affordability. It perfectly balances power and size, making it a great choice for most truck shoppers. From the standard F-150 to the larger F-350, Ford has a truck for everyone. The F-350 has the highest towing capacity, making it a great choice for those who need uncompromising power.
If you’re on the market for something smaller, they make the Maverick and Ranger as well. The new Ford Maverick is a small truck that comes standard with a hybrid engine. Though don’t think that because it is a hybrid, it isn’t capable. This little truck packs a punch with 2,000 lbs towing capacity and 1,500 lbs payload capacity. For a truck this size which can get 37 MPG, that is very impressive. Not everyone needs a big truck which is why we keep a ready supply of the Mavericks. Even if you like the size but want a bigger engine, the Maverick can be equipped with the more powerful 2.0L EcoBoost engine, which doubles the towing capacity to 4,000 lbs. Sometimes great things do come in small packages.
The Ranger is a compromise between the size of the Maverick and the size of the F-Series, but it doesn’t compromise on power. With towing of up to 7,500 lbs, this light-duty truck makes getting around the farm a breeze. Though it has a smaller bed than the F-150, the Ranger’s maneuverability makes it fun and easy to get around, even in tight spaces. While not a good fit for everyone, when you want a smaller truck that still brings a lot of horsepower to the table, the Ranger may be for you. So whether you are looking for an F-Series truck, a Maverick, or a new Ford Ranger, we do our best to keep a wide selection of new and used Ford trucks on our lot so our customers can see them, test drive them, and find the perfect truck without needing to wait too long.
Sometimes on a farm, all you need is a simple, used truck to do some basic hauling, and you don’t need all the fancy new features. We have a solid selection of used trucks which are perfect for such tasks. A used truck is also a good vehicle to teach your kids how to drive in, too, since there is less risk than with a brand new truck. Overall, a used truck is a great addition to your home, serving many purposes for an affordable price.
While we are a Ford dealership, we do sell used vehicles of other makes and models. We have a wide selection of used trucks for sale. We may or may not have the exact make or model which you are searching for, but our lot often has some great deals on it. Our dealership is a great place to browse around and see what we have available. We love showing our customers around the lot, telling them about the vehicles for sale, and arranging for test drives so they can see if a particular car is a good fit for them.
The F-Series trucks are a great and reliable choice for buying used. If you’d like an even better option, our Certified Pre-Owned Ford truck inventory comes with warranties and a rigorous inspection which helps give our buyers peace of mind. A used F-150, F-250, or F-350 will likely still have a lot of use left in it, making any of these a great choice for our customers. The Ranger had an eight-year hiatus, making the selection of Rangers less than the F-Series, but they are still out there. The Maverick is still a very new model for Ford, so there are even fewer Mavericks used than Rangers. Of course, always feel free to come by and see if we have any of these trucks on our lot.
So if you are looking for a Toyota, Chevy, Honda, or any other model, there is a decent chance that we have something to show you which could be a good fit. Our selection is always changing, so the best way to see what we have is to give us a call or come in to check it out in person. We look forward to seeing you.
