2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 Review
When Carl Benz invented the first gas power vehicle in 1879 his goal was to just move, fast was not an option. The first gas powered vehicle was slower than the average horse. In 1908 when Henry Ford rolled out the first Model T it had a top speed of 40-45 MPH. After the Model T we never looked back. Now race ahead to 2020 and I am excited to introduce you to the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350.
The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 has an amazing 5.2L Ti-VCT V8 engine with a Flat Plane Crank. This great power plant produces a giant 526 horsepower at 7,500 rpms. The standard transmission for the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 and the 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350R is the TREMEC Six-speed manual transmission. That combination means the Shelby Mustang has a 0 MPH to 60 MPH score of 4.3 seconds.
However, going fast is only part of what makes this Mustang wonderful. To make sure that you are comfortable in the 4.3 seconds it takes to get to 60 MPH Ford has installed optional RECARO cloth/MIKO PSort seats with dark slate accents. A 6-way power driver’s seat is an option. Ford also makes dual-zone electronic automatic temperature controls standard in the Shelby Mustang.
Now for some sound. The Shelby Mustang has a great sounding exhaust and Ford made sure that the Mustang has a sound system to match it. The 2020 Mustang Shelby GT350 has a standard amplified 9-speaker sound system that can be upgraded to a B&O Sound System by Bang & Olufsen 12 speaker HD radio with a subwoofer in the trunk. The Sync 3 and FordPass is also standard so that you can connect your phone directly to the car and play your favorite music apps right through the sound system.
For over 140 years people have been trying to perfect motion by gas and tires. The 2020 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350 moves us one step closer to finding perfection. If you are looking to make your dreams of power, speed and excitement a reality, this is the car for you.
