New 2020 Ford Explorer Review

Ford has asked its engineers to flex their brain muscles one more time and come up with a completely new, industry changing 2020 Ford Explorer. Once again they have done it. The 2020 Ford Explorer is a completely new SUV inside, outside and under the hood.

To start with, Ford has added two new trim levels to the already robust line up. The addition of the 2020 Ford Explorer ST has a performance option for those looking for a little bit of race car in their daily driver. With 400 horsepower and 415 lb-ft of torque and a max speed of 143 MPH, the Explorer ST can get you there fast and in style. Take the 400 horsepower and add the new rear wheel drive powertrain, that is standard across all the 2020 Ford Explorer line up, and you have power without the draw back of Torque steer.

The other new trim package that will be coming out later in the 2020 production line is the 2020 Ford Explorer Hybrid. Ford has been a little tight lipped on what we can expect from the Ford Explorer Hybrid but they have said it will lead the industry with a 5000 lb towing capacity and around a 500 mile distance between fill ups.

There are some other features to look out for in the new 2020 Ford Explorer. Ford is offering an optional B&O Sound System with 14 speakers. The B&O system has a whopping 980 Watts of power. Ford knowing that we live in a wireless world, has allowed for 9 different power points in this powerful SUV. They include USBs, USCs, 12 volt, 110 volt, and a cord free wireless charging pad.
